ProActive Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of industry veteran Jeff Rider as general manager, effective immediately.

An accomplished senior executive with more than 20 years of proven success within business meeting production, live marketing and corporate communications, Jeff is recognized as an enthusiastic, savvy leader in the industry. His management expertise has consistently built award-winning teams that deliver strategic impact and creative excellence to Fortune 500 clients, while also maintaining operational efficiency and effectiveness.

As general manager at ProActive, Jeff has overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the company. He will focus on aligning resources across functions and creating an even more client-focused culture as the agency continues to grow. ProActive recently opened a New York office and has added clients such as CDW, Ameriprise and ESPN ABC Sports to its roster.

Most recently, Jeff was vice president and director of BI's Media and and Events for 12 years. During this time, he created dramatic revenue growth supported by solid operational processes. His clients in the automotive, financial services, pharmaceutical, technology and other major industries had an extremely wide breadth of goals and target audiences. Previously, he held a senior executive position at Caribiner, Inc., having previously been with Maritz. He began his career as a sales manager at Abbott Laboratories.
